The idea seemed so obvious, I couldn't believe no-one had done it before. But I liked it so much, I deliberately didn't Google 'santa called while you were out' until after I'd drawn it, and then when I did, I couldn't find anything similar. I'm sure there must be, but if there is, it wasn't a deliberate copy.
I don't know about where you are, but it's common (and very annoying) to receive one of these cards when you are actually in. As if (and I would never accuse any of the fine people who deliver my valuable parcels) as if they employ a small boy to shove these cards through letter-boxes without knocking, drop the van full of parcels back at the depot and then take the rest of the afternoon off.
HA! I determined that the Santa and chimney thing was BS when I was a small child....about the same time I realized religion was also BS. :)
